Job Overview:
Position Purpose:

To provide professional client service to walk-in customers, handle basic transactional banking needs and identify and direct clients to the appropriate delivery channels. The Client Service Administrator also provides administrative support to the Imperial Service cluster and the General Manager.

Major Activities:

1. Greet walk-in customers and arrange contact with appropriate Imperial Service staff member.
2. Handle basic transactional banking needs and direct clients to the appropriate delivey channels.
3. Educate clients on alternate delivery channels and demonstrate the functionality of self serve banking equipment to customers as required.
4. Perform administrative functions to support the operation of the Imperial Service centre and the cluster.
5. Ensure the Imperial Service centre's marketing material is current and rates displayed are correct.
6. Input data to spreadsheets and databases.
7. Balance cash holdings, branch clearings, debits and credits from customer transactions.

Requirements:
The required competencies are:

1. Knowledge of banking policies, procedures and products sufficient enough to complete customer's transactional needs and respond to general inquiries.
2. Detailed knowledge of mainframe applications and PC software.
3. Basic knowledge of self-serve banking and office equipment.
4. Solid administration and organizational skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
6. Capable of working independently with minimal direction.
