Accounts Payable Clerk

Our Yellowknife based client has an immediate need for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a talented team of professionals to assist with project accounting for our client’s latest construction projects.

As a valued member of this team you will be required to;

Issue Purchase Orders to vendors and process invoices using a bespoke system
Maintain the invoice database for vendors and Project Managers
Add new construction sites and track for approval
Maintain/update quarterly site write-off reports
Maintain/update information in project management software & create reports
Process letters of credit, cheque requisitions, wire transfers and maintain tracking of same
Prepare and process department expense reports
Order departmental office supplies, process travel arrangements
Liaise with outside vendors, other departments and provide back up to Construction Accountant as required.
